Royal Wells - England

Tunbridge Wells is a famous spa town, which gained prominence in the Georgian era when many well-to-do visitors came to “take the waters”. The Royal Wells Hotel, an imposing white building close to the town centre, was once a favourite retreat of Queen Victoria, who stayed at the hotel as a young princess in the early 19th century and granted the hotel permission to display her coat of arms.   This 3 star traditional, family-run hotel has 23 individually designed bedrooms, two restaurants and three bars.  The Conservatory restaurant, with its intimate lounge bar, uses fresh, local produce and the Beau Nash is a cosy, welcoming pub, with well-stocked shelves, real ales, and a traditional menu.
