Back-Roads Touring Welcomes New Global General Manager

LONDON – MARCH 22, 2017 -

Leading small group holiday provider, Back-Roads Touring, has announced the appointment of Daryl Raven as its new Global General Manager.

 

Daryl Raven commenced his role with Back-Roads Touring last month and has since been travelling around the world to immerse himself in the brand, product and operations with the global team.

 

Hailing from New Zealand, Raven boasts an impressive background, having served as General Manager, New Zealand Sales, Service and Retail and Commercial Operations Manager at Tourism Holdings Limited, Global Marketing and Communications Manager at ICEF, and Product/Operations Manager at Magic Travellers Network.

 

With extensive tour operations experience and a solid product design background, Raven brings a global approach to the role along with strong leadership, all of which will contribute to maintaining the company’s operational excellence and diversifying source markets in order to push the Back-Roads brand to new heights.

 

Raven commented on his appointment: “I’m excited to be working with such a strong team and high quality product, creating, selling and delivering the tours that have made such a positive impact on thousands of passengers over the last 30 years.
