Cropwell Bishop Creamery is a family owned business situated in the 13th century Nottinghamshire village of Cropwell Bishop. Their mission has always been to produce simply the best cheese possible, and they do this by adhering to traditional cheese making techniques that have been used in the production of Stilton for generations. They use the best milk from locally owned farms, and cows that graze the lush pastures of the Peak District. We’ll visit the original Cheesemaker’s Shop in the historic dairy buildings where the cheese making process will be explained. We’ll also take part in a tasting where we can try cheeses of different types and ages.
